I built this website to raise awareness of the garbage truck visual plague on Main Street.
My inspiration comes from three points about garbage trucks that I believe are self evident:
1) The visible presence of garbage trucks on Main St. damages local property values. 2)
The visible presence of garbage trucks on Main St. damages local
businesses by assaulting visitors with garbage processing equipment
images just as they enter town. 3) The visible presence of garbage
trucks on Main St. damages the intangible community feel of Pennington.
Since, the garbage trucks are located at the entrance to town, there is
a real risk that some people will, if not subliminally, associate
Pennington with garbage.
